OEM Direct inc. SHipping & handling costs policy
We can ship to all 50 states in the United States, although not all items can be shipped economically to Alaska or Hawaii due to freight package sizes and other restrictions. Please allow additional time for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. We use UPS and common carriers that will not accept a PO Box as an address. Please always provide a physical street address location with every order.
We cannot ship to APO/FPOs, customs brokers, freight forwarders and in some cases, third party addresses different from a credit card mailing address and consequently, and therefore OEM Direct Sales reserves the right to reject any order at any time for any reason.
The United States and many localities have laws, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations governing sales, construction, installation, and/or use of products that may vary from those in other areas. OEM Direct Sales does not guarantee compliance and is not responsible for how the product is installed or used. You are responsible for all issues of compliance and safety for installation, operation, maintenance and proper usage with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations, including all requirements from the product manufacturer regarding installation or use of their products.
Our shipping rates are determined by our carrier’s shipping costs, which are based on the weight and the size of the package and the distance it must travel.
Larger shipments of oversized or overweight products require a common or commercial freight carrier. Commercial carriers are more cost effective on large palletized shipments. If shipments must be palletized, we will contact you to coordinate loading dock requirements.
Most orders received before Noon EST are shipped the same day. UPS normally requirea a maximum of five days to ship an order via Ground Service from the East Coast to the West Coast, and fewer days as the incremental distance lessens.
Many of our items can be shipped overnight or expedited two (2) Day UPS shipping service. If you are considering this option, your order must be placed via telephone before 12:00 noon EST. The additional fees and charges associated with the expedited shipping will be manually added to your order by our Customer Service Department.
We are not able to ship your orders using your shipping account information. Our order processing system will not accept third party shipping payments or account numbers.
At this time we do not yet have a “Will Call” Counter, but if you want to pick up large orders in the greater New York City area you must contact us prior to entering your order, to make the necessary arrangements in advance.
